Week Two in Hawaii – Sony Open

2022 Sony Open

Back to back week’s in Hawaii. Does it get any better? In most instances, no….it does not get any better than spending a couple weeks in Hawaii and for many of the players here for the second week, they’re in for a treat. We watched Cameron Smith go low, like tournament record low at Kapalua to win the Sentry Tournament of Champions last weekend and he’s back for more at the Sony Open and listed as the favorite at +800. (Hopefully someone read the post from last weekend and played my Cameron Smith at +2200)

Reigning champion from 2021 is Kevin Na, (+2500) and he’s also back in the field this week. He seems comfortable on both of these courses and has been known to string together some good rounds at the Sony Open, so look for him to be around on Sunday. Also, keep an eye on Sunjae Im (+1600) and Kevin Kisner (+3000), I think there’s good value in both of those lines, as well as Matsuyama. (+1800)

It’s the first tournament with a full field, so don’t look for a wire to wire winner last week, and don’t be surprised to see some unfamiliar names up at the top of the leaderboard after tmrw’s round. If you’re interested in seeing all the odds, visit DraftKings Sportsbook for full odds.
