It was the last 18 hole playoff held at the Masters before it turned to a sudden death playoff in 1976. Billy Casper was the name at the top of the leaderboard after play was finished along with Gene Littler who eventually was beaten in the 18 hohle playoff the following Monday. This was also Tom Watson’s first Masters.
