One of the special things about Masters Week is all the fantastic people you have a chance to meet, in some cases find a way to work with, and in the case of this partner spotlight, start to know as family. Golf Talk America first appeared at the Azalea House back in 2016 when it’s General and Chief in Command Frank Bassett walked through the door of 1100 Azalea Drive looking for a location to broadcast his then PGATour.com podcast. The connection was instant, the arrangement didn’t take long discuss and before long we’d carved out an area of our patio for Frank and his crew to do the show live for our guests everyday.
Frank opened our perspective to the golf media world when we partnered together for much of the 2017 PGA Tour season, sponsoring his show on-location at several tournaments. We did the a few stops including the Honda Classic, Shriners Children’s Open, The BMW Championship, TOUR Championship and Ryder Cup that year. We’ve tagged along to the PGA Show in Orlando and as a result of our relationship met some of the greatest humans on the planet.
Golf Talk America brings another level of excitement and vibe to our hospitality experience during the week. In addition to the expert insight into the play happening across Washington Road, Frank regularly has guests join him live at The Azalea House. The Masters Tournament is known to draw some of the public’s most revered personalities and celebrities, many of whom spend time with Frank on the podcast.
Frank and Golf Talk America is now part of Morning Read and Sports Illustrated Media Group. Their network is considered one of golf’s most comprehensive resources for golf industry and tour news and we’re grateful for our relationship and friendship with Frank and his people.
To Frank….You’re one-of-kind & we love you! Thanks for all you do and all the memories!
