Sunday in Augusta – Drive, Chip & Putt Championships

It’s Monday of Masters Week and looking back at the success of yesterday’s, now annual, Drive Chip and Putt Championships it’s likely were headed to another full week  of Masters activities leading up to the tournament in the years to come.  Growing the game of golf seems to be the top priority of all of golf’s’ authorities, including Augusta National.  Hosting the Women’s Amateur extended the week to 9 days two years ago, and we’d be foolish to think there’s not something for the AJGA, collegiate golf, PGA Class A Professionals….the possibilities are endless.

Anyway, we’ve got a wonderful photographer, Addie Strozier (check her out!) who followed around a guest of The Azalea House yesterday who participated in the DCP Championships yesterday and took some unbelievable photographs.  Maya Fujisawa Keuling, of Carmel, IN participated in the 10-11 Girls flight had pretty much the best day of her life.  Oh, and she won long drive at 217 yards!!  What an incredible experience!  Check out some of the photos below:
