The 1934 Masters

The centerpiece of the collection: an original badge from the inaugural Augusta National Invitation Tournament, the event that would become The Masters. It bears 13 authenticated signatures from the 1934 field, including Bobby Jones, Horton Smith, Walter Hagen, Craig Wood, Denny Shute, Billy Burke, Ed Dudley, Al Watrous, George Dunlap, Errie Ball, and John Golden.

Sold at auction in April 2024, setting a world record for any golf ticket ever sold. Now on private display at the Hall of Excellence.
